Inspirational Hip-Hop Femcee and Philanthropist Carita Cole stands up for women’s rights, empowerment and spirituality. She will kick off Black History month with a performance at Lane College during their Religious Emphasis Week on February 2, 2017. Carita will open for world renown gospel singer Kierra Sheard.
Carita Cole is a multi-talented artist best known for her bold flavor of Christian Hip-Hop. “Carita Cole Ministry” was founded with the mission to encourage, enlighten, and bring forth hope to the youth of today. With music, Carita has been able to reach the minds of children by impacting them a dose of ministry that’s laced with the entertaining Hip-Hop flavor that most new millennials love so well.
There has been a gradual merger between the culture of popular and inspirational music over time. Consequently, Carita Cole has seized the opportunity to develop a sound that breaks the traditional barriers of genre categorization. Inspirational and Christian Hip-Hop music benchmarked her career and have warranted her appearances on Bounce TV and placements within several other digital and print media outlets.
Her resume now includes the release of 3 studio albums, an exhilarating performance during the Stellar Awards pre-show in Las Vegas and more opening performances for world re-known gospel artists like Kierra Sheard and Uncle Reece. Although her authoritative vocals are enriched with spiritual purpose, her conveyance of lyrics and clever punch-lines reek of classic Hip-Hop with the added flavor of fresh 808 beats.
Carita Cole’s most recent mixtape, Hard is a collection of pure unadulterated spoken Hip Hop. Cole proves that a pure heart and a solid mission can walk the fine line between gospel and Hip-Hop music. Her audacious single “Back Seat” will be apart of an initiative to bring awareness to standing up for self and executing fearlessly with confidence. The campaign visual pays tribute to the mentality of civil rights activist Rosa Parks, who is historically known for her Montgomery Bus Boycott. Stay connected at CaritaCole.com.

Chicago native Bernard “Medisyne Works” Arnold, Jr. has experienced an exhilarating set of accomplishments including the launch of his studio album series “The Book Of Retribution.” In the 2015 release, “Volume 1: Punishment For Evil Done or Reward For Good,” the swift tongued emcee rhapsodized about controversial topics including his support of the benefits of legal medicinal cannibus in his single “Medicate”. His endearing method of protest soothed biases with a melodic impact that tamed even the worst of critics. Thus, “Medisyne Works”.
Medisyne Works made his national television debut on TV One’s Hollywood Divas. During the Season 3 reunion, he took the stage with the original Diva Paula Jai Parker to perform their song entitled “Going Down”. The song is featured on Medisyne’s Works second studio album series, “The Book of Retribution Vol. 2: Unchanging Standard By Which To Measure Wrongdoing”.
The project has been described as a symphony of pure Hip Hop ecstasy. Arnold’s music is enriched with coastal fusion. His narrative tapestries cross ethnic boundaries allowing listeners to be united by their universal love for the art. Hence, “Love Works”. The multifaceted collection represents a catalog of traditional hip-hop, laced with Jazz, Latin and other cultural influences.
“Baila”, the first album single features Johnny Rivera and Mario Proenza. This charismatic dance track is fused with Latin tradition and chanting expressions about the captivating beauty and existence of women. The follow up single “White Sisters” chronicles Medisyne’s involvement in the production of the Hollywood Diva’s cast spin off movie. The track features Kief Brown and the legendary Flesh-n-Bone.
The script doesn’t stop here, “The Book of Retribution Vol. 2: Unchanging Standard By Which To Measure Wrongdoing” is suited with quality Hip-Hop. Medisyne Works’ is just what the doctor ordered. Get it everywhere February 2017!!
